The Jesuit principle is that "the ends justify the means". I find that a very dangerous principle. Does killing 116 hostages justify as a means to get rid of 12 rebels?

If atrocities can be committed for the greater good of humanity, perhaps humanity isn't even worth the sacrifice. Negative feedback.

After sitting on it for so long, I finally decided to do it. Starting the blog, I mean. I sure hope I have the time and energy to carry it through. What do I have to blog about anyway? I'm not some sweet young thing who is desperately seeking love and security. I cannot whine about Mr. Right and Mr. Wrong; neither can I write about the minute (and boring) details of my stable and mundane relationship. So? Anyway, here it is.. and let's hope this pond doesn't get reclaimed.
