The Jesuit principle is that "the ends justify the means". I find that a very dangerous principle. Does killing 116 hostages justify as a means to get rid of 12 rebels?

If atrocities can be committed for the greater good of humanity, perhaps humanity isn't even worth the sacrifice. Negative feedback.
