Watching a drama about vampires on Channel 8 that doesn't really make much sense, but is addictive anyway.

I'm experiencing sharp stabbing pains on my neck, which prompted the doctor to give me two days off from work. Which explains the late night television.

Casting about for inspirational material to write, but nothing is forthcoming.

I can only think about the pain. And about the person lying on the bed next to me, sleeping and feverish.

I guess this is what they mean when they say, "in sickness and in health".
